Hey
I am looking for help about glue. I am going to build Deagostini McLaren 4/23. The instruction says there will be three glue type needed.
"You will require three types of glue for the assembly of this model, one suited to the bonding of ABS plastic to ABS plastic, another being Superglue (cyanoacrilate) for bonding metal to plastic, (a gel or 'thick' type superglue is better controlled), and finally a General Purpose glue (epoxy)."
I already know Tamiya so I found they have this glue
TAMIYIA cement (for ABS resin) so I bought it is it ok?

What about epoxy I dont know I only found they are made of two parts and has to be mixed?
Superglue thick or gel would be better for models? Tamiya CA Cement quick type is ok?
What do you use to apply glue?

Hi Just use folowing glues and you will be allright. TAMIYA 87182 for ABS, plasticWürth Superglue for Metalic parts (Cyanacrylat). Here you can use any other alternatives, but you should use something that glues fast (5-30sec). Tamiya Mark fit for Decals.Everything else is extra. But with these three you should be ok (they dont come cheep, but they are very good quality). Bee cool and good luck. Sincerely P.S. I have also just received the MP4/23 for Christmas. Unfortunately I am missing some packages. As soon as I get them, I will start building together with my son.
