Thanks, everyone! The carpet comes from a Dutch webshop, it's super self-adhesive and quite thin. 0.85mm, therefore easy to process. It's not cheap, but I use a piece of 44×40 cm for two 1/8 models. I will probably also do the trunk floor with the remaining pieces. https://bestekhouders.nl...fklevend-vilt-plakvilt/
The photo below is of a Pocher Lambo during construction, you can see the thickness of the carpet fairly well. I think it's a nice addition to a model, especially compared to a plastic floor

By the way, I removed some of the plastic left and right in front of the seats with a Dremel so that it becomes a smoother transition instead of a strange angle under the carpet.

Little bit of progress made, I need to see first what I'm planning to do with my damaged bumper before I can continue

Excellent work on your build Dinky, all very neat and tidy with some really cool upgrades and adjustments. This will be a very nice model when it is finished I'm sure?!
Keep up the good work and keep posting - well done!

Great to see this build coming together. Like you I have the Samba and it only just fits in my cabinet so would have a lot of trouble with the Charger. Excellent work. Following with interest. regards Andy. Did you finish the Samba?

Not done much lately, just made a small flange under the radiator cap and an overflow pipe from the radiator to the tank.
