This part of the forum is dedicated to the Ayrton Senna Renault Lotus 97T a new build from Deagostini. All forum sections will be under the F1 group of builds, with subscription information available through the Green banner at the top of the forum main page. Introduction to the Lotus 97T:

The Lotus 97T was a Formula One race car that was designed by Gérard Ducarouge and built by Team Lotus for use in the 1985 Formula One World Championship. This was a development of the previous year's 95T, this car was powered by the turbocharged 1.5-litre Renault EF15B V6 engine and ran on Goodyear tyres. The main sponsor was John Player Special (the tobacco company) and they continued as the team's title sponsor, along with Elf and Olympus as secondary sponsors.

The Official Build will be in the capable hands of Roy (aka roymattblack) as soon as the first parts arrive. The Official Build Diary will be a locked topic as it is purely a point of information for other builders, but there is a "discussion" area available where Roy will be available to answer any queries that may arise.
