Issue 87

Picture 1 shows the parts for this issue.

Assembling the Base and Blaster

Snap fit the cover (87D) onto the blaster anchor (87C), picture 2 and 3. Place the assembly on the shield of the blaster assembly and secure in place using 2 x KP screws, picture 4.

Snap fit the anchor terminal (87E) into position as shown in picture 5. Note this will only fit one way. Picture 6 shows the complete blaster assembly.

Place the connector (87B) on the side of the rear half of the base supplied in issue 80, and secure with 3 x AAP screws, picture 7. Take the other half of the base from this issue (87A) and attach it to the connector and securing it with 6 x AAP screws, picture 8.

Finally, place the metal crossmembers from issue 80 and place them as shown in picture 9, securing them in place using 4 x AAP screws.

Picture 10 shows the final assemble for this issue.

Issue 88

Picture 1 shows the parts for this issue.

Assembling the Leg

Snap the detail (88D) onto the bottom plate (88B), pictures 2 and 3. Now fit it to the leg frame from issue 86 as shown in picture 4.

Fit the upper end cap (88E) to the upper inner plate (88A), this will only fit one way, picture 5. Then fit the plate to the leg frame as shown in picture 6.

Finally, fit the cover (88C) onto the bottom plate, picture 7.

Picture 8 shows the final assemble for this issue.

Issue 89

Picture 1 shows the parts for this issue.

Assembling the Leg

Attach the inner rim (89C) to the outer rim (89B) and secure the two with 4 x IP screws, picture 2.

Fit the rim assembly inside the tyre (89D), picture 3. Note: If you warm up the tyre with hot water first, it will make the fitting over the rim much easier.

Fit the hub (89E) to the outer side of the rim as shown in picture 4.

Finally, fit the cover (89A) over the tyre with the metal end pieces on the outer side, picture 5.

That completes the assemble for this issue.

Issue 90

Assembling the Leg

Insert the nut (90I) and fit it into the recess on part (90B) as shown in picture 2. Close up the assembly with the hinge plate (90D) and secure with 2 x NM screws, picture 3.

In the holes on either side of the upper knee frame (90A), insert the two small friction discs, picture 4. Holding them in position, press the end of the previous assembly onto the frame and using the wrench, secure it with the hex screw, spring washer and washer, as shown in pictures 5 and 6.

Place the side protection plate (90C) on the bottom post of the knee joint (90C) and push the pin (90N) through both, pictures 7 and 8.

Insert the back plate joint (90M) onto the pin on the inside face of the shield plate (90F) and fix in position using an MP screw and a spring washer, picture 9. Place the assembly on the lower pin of the leg frame and secure it with an HM screw and a spring washer, picture 10.

Picture 11 shows the complete assembly for this issue.

Issue 91 Part 1

Picture 1 shows the parts for this issue.

Assembling the Leg

Insert the knee shaft (91J) into the hole of the assembly from the previous issue, picture 2. On the opposite side, thread a disk (90K) with the ridges facing out, picture 3.

Take the assembly from issue 90 and place this assembly in the lower hole of the leg structure, picture 4, then place another disc in, picture 5.

In the top recess of the assembly from issue 90, place a disk with the ridges facing out, then join both assemblies by inserting the shaft (91J) into the hole, then on the opposite side, fix 2 x NM screws, which were provided in issue 90.

Place the inner knee protector ring (91B) and the bolt (91K) with a washer and using the wrench tighten the bolt into the locking nut inside the knee protection ring, pictures 6 and 7.

Snap the knee protection blade in place as shown in picture 8.

Place two disks into the grooves on both sides of the lower end leg frame. Holding the disks in place, slide part (91E) to cover the disks, matching their holes, then secure in place with an NP screw, pictures 9 and 10.

That completes Part 1 of this assembly.

Issue 91 Part 2

Assembling the Leg

Snap fit the cap (91C) onto the open face of the rear leg cylinder (91A), picture 11. Insert the thin end of the cylinder connector (91I) onto the hinge and secure with the pin (91L). You may need to use a small pair of pincers to push the pin through the hole, picture 12.

Attach the assembly on the leg structure and secure with HM screw and washer, pictures 13 and 14. Note: You may have to move the plate on the leg structure to attach this assembly.

Next, Attach the three parts (91D, 91G and 91H) together as shown in pictures 15 and 16. Press fit the two outer end ring caps (91P) onto each side, picture 17.

Attach the assembly to the lower part of the leg assembly, pushing the pins in place, picture 18.

Picture 19 shows the complete assembly for this issue.
