STAGE 72:

ECU (Engine Control Unit) assembly.

Locate the ECU and the two connectors, parts 72C and 72A.
Fit the connectors into the top two left holes on the ECU, so they are facing away from the ECU front face.

Fit the other two connectors, parts 72B into the other two holes in the ECU, facing the same way as parts 72A.

Retrieve the main car assembly and fit the ECU to the two locating holes in the left intercooler supply duct, part 71A.
Fix the assembly in place with 2 x DP screws.

Fit the two airflow sensor pipes already fitted to the engine, parts 46D and 46E to the two left connectors, parts 72A, on the ECU.

Fit the two black pipes, parts 72D to the two black connectors, parts 72B, on the ECU.
Leave the other ends free for now.

Store the assembly safely.

STAGE 73:

Left inner sidepod assembly.

Retrieve the main car assembly and locate the left inner sidepod frame, part 73A.
Fit the part to the left side of the car chassis panel in the location shaped to fit.
Secure using 2 x EM screws.

Fit the front grille, part 73B, over the grille frame, part 73C and fix together using 4 x CP screws.

Fit this assembly into the two locating brackets on the side of the cockpit, parts 14B and 14C.
The assembly will only fit one way.

Fix the grille and frame in place using 1 x CP screw, down through the top of the upper bracket, part 14B.
Then secure the lower part of the frame by fixing 2 x CP screws through the front side of the lower bracket, part 14C.
Take care here as these two screws are quite awkward and fiddly to fit.

Store the assembly safely.

STAGE 74:

Left radiator assembly.

Locate the radiator parts 74A, 74B and 74C.
Fit parts 74A and 74B together.
They will only fit one way.

Turn the assembly over, holding the parts in place and fit the silver radiator part 74C in place and secure using 4 x EP screws.

Retrieve the main car assembly and locate the two pins on the left edge of the chassis plate, next to the inner sidepod assembly.

Fit the radiator to the pins, in the holes in the underside.
Press the radiator down fully.

Store your model safely for now.

STAGE 75:

Left sidepod assembly.

Locate the sidepod top panel, part 75A.
Fit it in place on the top of the left sidepod.
It will only fit one way.
Secure it using 3 x MP screws.

Locate the front air divider, part 75C and fit it in place at the front of the radiator.
The part will only fit one way.
Fix it in place using 1 x MP screw down through the front top corner.

Locate the two mounting brackets, parts 75D and 75E.
Note that bracket 75E has two grooves on the inner faces of the side arms.
Also, in the printed instructions bracket 75D as shown to have a different shape on one of the side arms.
This is not the case. Both brackets are the same shape.

Fit bracket 75D to the lower mounting point near the rear of the sidepod.
The pin on the rear of the bracket goes in the left hole on the car body.
The screw MM fixes the bracket through the right hole.

Fit bracket 75E to the upper mounting point near the rear of the sidepod.
The pin on the rear of the bracket goes in the upper hole on the car body.
The screw MM fixes the bracket through the lower hole.

Locate the support arm and gasket, parts 75B and 75F.
Fit the two parts together. They will only fit one way.

Fit the assembly into the two previously fitted brackets, 75D and 75E.
Secure the top of the arm, part 75F using 1 x SP screw through the hole in the side of the bracket, part 75E.

Press the pin on the end of the gasket, part 75B into the locating point on the top of the radiator.

Store your model safely for now.

STAGE 76:

Left sidepod fittings.

Locate the wiring, part 76A and fit it into the two locating holes in the top of the left sidepod.
Make sure the left end goes through the hole in the side of the cockpit, and the right end goes under the angled bracket.

Connect the two wires, parts 72D to the two outer pins on the end of the wire, part 76A.

Locate the wire, part 76B and fit it in place between part 25B and the other pin on part 76A.

Locate the radiator hose parts 76C, 76D and 76E.
Fit the parts together. They will only fit one way.

Fit the end of the assembly, part 76C onto the pin on the upper left bank, part 36H.
Fit the other end, part 76E onto the pin on the radiator connector, part 75B.

Store your model safely for now.
