Assembling the Filler Cap

Locate the fuel tank filler cap from issue 61 and place it on the inside of the trunk compartment (63A). Secure it will 2 x AP screws, picture 2.

Installing the Trunk Compartment
Place the trunk compartment on the rear of the model, lining up the 6 screw holes. Place 2 x CM screws at the front and 4 x AM screws to the sides as shown in picture 3.

That completes the assembly for this issue.

Issue 64

Picture 1 shows the parts for this issue.

Place the two bulkhead brackets (64E) on the back of the front bulkhead (64A), securing them both in place by using CP screws, picture 2.

Now place the footrest (64D), brake pedal (64C) and the accelerator pedal (64B) and place then onto the inside of the front bulkhead as shown in picture 3. You may want to add a small amount of quick drying glue to hold them in place.

That completes the assembly for this issue.

Take the front bulkhead assembly from the previous issue and place it onto the interior floor as shown in picture 2. Turm the assembly over and secure it in place using 2 x CP screws, picture 3.

Issue 66

Take the two seat belts (66B) and insert the end of each onto the slots in the console base (66A) as shown in picture 2.

Carefully turn the console over and tie the ends together, making sure they are of equal lengths, picture 3.

Issue 67

Picture 1 shows the parts for this issue.


Take the gearshift (67C) and push it up through the inside of the gearshift base (67B), picture 2. Now push the assembly through the console base from the last issue as shown in picture 3. Secure this in place with the bracket (67E) using 2 x AKP screws, picture 4.

Turn the assembly over, picture 5 and attach the gearshift knob (67D), picture 6.

Fit the bat-phone base (67A) to the console base and secure it using 2 x AKP screws, pictures 7 and 8.

Issue 68

Picture 1 shows the parts for this issue.

Push the first button (68H) into the top of the central console (68A), then push the remaining button into the slot on top of the console panel (68B), pictures 2 and 3. Push the panel into the recess in the central console, picture 4.

Push the gearshift (68D) up through the hole in the gearshift base (68E) as shown in picture 5. Then, push the gearshift base up through the round hole in the central console, picture 6. Turn the assembly over and secure the gearshift with the gearshift bracket (68F) using 2 x AP screws, picture 7.

Push fit the gearshift head (68C) onto the top of the gearshift lever, picture 8.

Finally, push the console front panel (68G) onto the front of the central console, picture 9.

Picture 10 shows the complete console assembly for this issue. Picture 11 shows the console temporarily fitted to the car.
