Hi All, BigGrin

Here we go with the start of the next pack with Issue 63. Cool

Parts supplied.....Pic 1, you will also need ET`s body assembly.

Start by positioning a shoulder bracket 63-01, to the left side of ET`s body as in Pic 2 and fix it in place using 3 x P-TPB screws as in Pic 3. Now repeat this operation on the right side as shown in Pic 4.

That`s all for this update, Pic 5. Keep the unused parts and screws in Pic 6 safely for later use.

Hi All, BigGrin

Here is the ET update for Issue 64.

Parts supplied.....Pic 1 and you will also need his main body section.

Locate the two screws that can be seen in Pic 2 and carefully remove them from each side of ET (four in total). This will release the part 21-02 located between the top of ET`s legs.

Bring the removed part 21-02 to the table, along with the new circuit board supplied in this issue, 64-01. Shown in Pic 3.

Place the circuit board 64-01 onto the smooth side of part 21-02 and fix them together using 4 x P-TP screws, as indicated in Pic 4. Place the assembly back underneath ET (with the circuit board uppermost and the largest socket to the rear) as indicated in Pic 5. Refit the panel in place using the screws you removed earlier. Your views of the circuit board (front and rear) should be the same as shown in Pics 6 and 7. That`s all for this update. ThumpUp

Hi All, BigGrin

In this update number 65, we really start into the set-up and wiring of ET.

Parts supplied.....Pic 1, you will also need ET`s main body and the battery pack used for testing, that was supplied in Issue 3.

Connect the test pack (set in the "Off" position) to the right side arm rotor motor as shown in Pic 2. Switch the battery pack "On", switching it "Off" when the lug on the rotor reaches the top, see Pic 3. Now position a wired microswitch 65.04 and fix it in place using 2 x P-TPF screws, all shown in Pic 4.

Repeat the above operation on the "Left" side as shown in Pic 5.

With the neck rotor set as per the instructions, fit the microswitch 65.05 onto the pin and fix it in place using a P-TPF screw, see Pic 6.

Plug the left switch cable (black/black} into the socket shown in Pic 7 and the left motor cable (Red/Black) into the socket shown in Pic 8. Now repeat this operation on the right side, shown in Pic 9.

Now move to the rear of ET and pass the neck motor cable (Red/Black) through the cable retainer and plug it into the position shown in Pic 10. Now route the neck switch cable (Black/Black) the same way and plug it into its socket as shown in Pic 11.

That completes this update, with Front and Rear views of ET`s body in Pics 12 and 13 respectively.

Hi All, BigGrin

I`m back with ET as the next pack is coming soon and I`m still playing catch-up.

This update is for Issue 66.

Parts supplied.....Pic 1, you will also need the main body of ET and the large cable 65-02.

Start by fitting the left rib support 66-01 onto the main body, using 2 x P-TP screws and noting the orientation as shown in Pic 2.

Now connect the cable from the chest LED. Pic 3 shows the wire and Pic 4 gives a close up of where it plugs into the main circuit board.

Turn ET round so you are looking at his back. Take the multi wire cable 65-02, you can choose which direction you feed the cable, but I like gravity to assist so fed it down from the top, making sure it passed through the wire retainers as indicated in Pic 5. Finally fit the lower plug of the cable into the socket indicated in Pic 6. That`s all for this issue, Pic 7.

Hi All, BigGrin

It`s time for update number 67.

Parts supplied.....Pic 1. You will also need the main model and base, plus the cables from issue 65 and brackets with screws P-TPB from issue 63.

Start with the main body and fix part 67=01 to the right hand side, using 2 x P-TP screws. NOTE: make sure you fit part 67-01 the correct way up.

Next, select the three cables 65-03 shown in Pic 3. Turn the base over and note the marked cables shown in Pic 4. Connect the white cable to the one marked "S" as in Pic 5. Now connect the other two cables and mark the free ends to match A and B as in Pic 6. Feed the three cable ends up through the base as shown in Pic 7, until they emerge out of the top of the leg as in Pic 8.

Now fit ET`s body onto the legs/base, (being very careful not to trap any wires) as shown in Pic 9. Then fit the brackets 2 x 63-02 on the left and right sides, using the saved P-TPB screws as shown in Pics 10 and 11.

ET can now stand on his own two feet LOL, Pics 12 and 13.

Final update for this pack coming soon. Drool

Hi All, BigGrin

Here we are with the last update for this pack, number 68.

Parts supplied.....Pic 1 (but before we go there), we have to travel back to issue 48 and collect the part shown in Pic 2 plus the unused 4 x P-TP screws that you kept safe. Blink

Position the stage 48 assembly as shown in Pic 3, taking careful note of the front face indicators. Then fix the assembly into position using the retained 4 x P-TP screws, as shown in Pics 4 and 5.

Ok, lets get back to the issue 68 parts. LOL

Position the parts 68-01 and 68-02 together as shown in Pic 6 and fix them together using 4 x P-TP screws as in Pic 7. Now position this assembly on the left side of ET, Pic 8 and fix it in place with 2 x P=TP screws from above, Pic 9, followed by 2 x P-TP screws from below as in Pic 10.

That`s it for this update/pack, with Pic 11 showing ET`s left shoulder area.
