Hi Martyn,

Looking great, love the paint work. Did you use a primer or paint direct onto the wood?

Coming along very nicely Martyn....Cool Cool .. Can't give any advice on lining the gun ports I'm afraid... simply because it is not something I have done so for now will have to follow your progress and experiences on this particular task..... BigGrin BigGrin .. If I was going to advise then think I would be saying simply take your time with it....BigGrin BigGrin

Looking good MartynBigGrin BigGrin I am afraid there isn't an easy way to line gun ports properly.I used a jig on my build to make boxes out of wider material and then shaped to the hull profile. This doesn't make it easier, just ensures all the ports are exactly the same size.Wouldn't recommend it on a standard build though because you need to be able to work inside the hull.
Kind Regards Nigel
