Hi Steve and Alan thanks for your support and friendly Comments I build Cutty Sark Billing Boats which was a Artesania kit, using Artesanias building instructions. The wood I use is what is left over from Artesania CS and some teak wood I have from my work as a carpenter. I did not think billings wood is good for anything other than gliders, as they primarily use balsa wood. the aluminum is from a profile to the roof, bought in the local construction market. This was also a test when I found out how to translate Danish to English on the computer. I now come to the fore deck, I will perform as billing b teaches, as I understand that it is the most appropriate design in relation to historical akuratitet ---- I love this translate pogram. cheers All. SAMSON

Hi Samson The translating program seems to be working fine . I would love to have a go at completely paneling a ship in aluminium plates, one day maybe. Steve

Hi Alan , Andy and Steve Many thanks for your interest in my build and friendly Comments. Alan if you build C. S. here's a thing to consider: brass stanchions on bulwarks or white painted. I just painted them white so here is before and after - so judge for yourself what is the nicest. (excuse the bad photo fodder.) Stevie I am also quite moved by it so it will not be the last time I get a little wrinkled aluminum. into a model ship - definitely. Cheers All. Jens
