Are the seats supplied in that cloth material or is that mod as they look pretty cool

They are supplied as cloth. The seats are actually really cool. You have to install these internal rubber bands, then you put these sleeves of presawn cloth with internal padding over them. It's absolutely unique.

It sounds like they put a lot of thought into the seats, the look pretty damn convincing finished

It's also a lot of fun really to do all that work oneself for once.

Delivery 14: I put together the passenger side door with openable window then fit both doors with hinges. I've also layed cable for sound/lights under the passenger room which is not shown.

The windows work real nice, but the window hinges are really small and I don't think one should try opening/closing them too often. Then again the whole car is supplied with a case so there's not much chance of someone playing around with it.

After a plethora of delivery issues (luckily solved with the help of mod Andreas) I could finally continue with this kit.

We're at pack 17 now. Most of packs 15 and 15 were heavily delivery-only based, including the upper body. With pack 17 (and a tiny tiny bit of 15&16) the wind screen, wipers, water pump, hot air tube, battery, cold air flap and mirrors were built and installed.

looks great greyhawk.I love the metal earth Eiffel tower in the display case.Nice touch. All you need now is a mime carrying baguettes and a bottle of wine for the complete look.

There's Notre-Dame and l'Arc de Triomphe coming still. But that mime is a great idea. Maybe I can put him in as the driver.

18: Finished the instrument panel and steering. The little key down below in the picture will be used to start the multimedia components such as light and sound. Light intensity will be controlled by the little lever on the steering console just like in real life. Not pictures: Installed the loud speaker hidden in the foot space of the passenger area.

One can't get it in Germany anymore either. It looks like I'm building the last one available. Which is a real shame, this kit deserved a much larger distribution. The kit requires an unusual amount of patience and concentration at times, but the results are so worth it.
